What is OTP based login in e-commerce store?

Currently what is the problem in the platform?
Currently,we have only one login option (using email and password) can be a limitation for users who may forget their password. In such cases, the user would need to reset the password which can be a time-consuming process. To improve the user experience, adding another login option through mobile number OTP can provide an alternative way for users to access their account.
