Courier zones and weight-based rates

Courier zones let you set courier prices by weight. You split a courier's delivery area into zones, then give each zone a price for each weight range. For example, a light parcel can cost ₹40 to send and a heavier one ₹70.

Before you start

Courier zones are turned on by Shopnix. If you don't see View Zones next to your couriers, contact Shopnix support to turn this on.
Add the courier first. See Set up couriers.

Add zones to a courier

Go to Store Manager → Setup → Couriers.
Find the courier and click View Zones.
Add the zones you use with this courier.

Add weight-based rates to a zone

Go to Store Manager → Setup → Couriers.
Click View Zones for the courier.
Click View Zone Rates for the zone.
Add a rate for each weight range. Fill in the fields below.
Save the rate. Repeat for each weight range.

Zone rate fields

Field	What it does
Weight From	The lowest parcel weight this rate covers.
Weight To	The highest parcel weight this rate covers.
Price	The price for a parcel in this weight range, for example ₹40.
Is Active	Untick to stop using this rate without deleting it.

See courier costs by zone

The Courier report can be filtered by courier and zone. It shows weight, taxes, surcharges and the amount payable for each consignment.
