Set up cash on delivery
Cash on delivery (COD) lets customers pay when their order arrives. Turn it on for your store, add an extra COD charge if you want, and show customers a short message about it at checkout.
Turn on cash on delivery
- Go to Store Manager → Setup → Settings.
- Open the Orders tab, then Cod.
- Turn on cash on delivery.
- Fill in the COD charges and the COD details message if you want to use them. See the table below.
- Save your changes.
COD settings

By default the option is called "Cash on Delivery" at checkout. To use a different name, contact Shopnix support.
Offer COD only in some areas
You can turn COD on or off for each delivery area, by pincode. See Offer cash on delivery by pincode.
What happens next
- Customers can choose cash on delivery at checkout. Any COD charge is added to their order.
- A COD order is not paid until it is delivered. When you collect the cash, change the order's payment status to PAID. See Track and update order payments.
